Cary Boyce was commissioned by Nancy Menk and the South
Bend Chamber Singers for a new Christmas piece, Veni Veni
Emmanuel, to premiere on December 16 for their 2008 season.
They performed Es ist ein Ros' in
2006.

American Composers Forum and VocalEssence,
May 2007.
Carmen Helena Téllez wins a "New Frontiers"
grant from Indiana University for a project with Mexican composer

Cary Boyce received a “Special
Distinction” award from the ASCAP (American Society of
Composers and Publishers) Foundation’s 2006
national Nissim Prize for his oratorio for soprano, chorus,
and orchestra, Dreams within a Dream.
